Kerry O’Grady, the U.S. Secret Service agent who publicly said in 2017 that she wouldn’t take a bullet President Donald Trump, is leaving the agencies with a black mark. Still, she’ll walk away in about three weeks with her pension intact, Real Clear Politics reports.

After he comment went public, she was removed as head of the Denver office.

Real Clear Politics reports that she has quietly settled a disciplinary action against her.

The Secret Service agent who said she would not take a bullet for President Trump should be immediately fired, according to a petition circulated by spouses of several Secret Service agents.

The spouses, whose names have remained anonymous, said they don’t believe Special Agent Kerry O’Grady can safely lead the Denver district office.

The online petition urges Secret Service Director John Clancy to “act now and terminate Kerry O’Grady from the duties she badly stated she will not perform.

“This petition is to make known the sincere concerns that many special agents’ wives, loved ones and American citizens have with the written statements made by Kerry O’Grady regarding her unwillingness to conduct herself in a professional manner and to uphold the oath she willingly took 23 years ago,” the petition states.

O’Grady was placed on leave pending an investigation.

A Secret Service agent who said she would not take a bullet for President Trump has been placed on administrative leave.

Kerry O’Grady, the special agent in charge of the Secret Service’s Denver district, alarmed her colleagues by statements on Facebook.

In October, she posted on Facebook: “As a public servant for nearly 23 years, I struggle not to violate the Hatch Act. So I keep quiet and skirt the median. To do otherwise can be a criminal offense for those in my position. Despite the fact that I am expected to take a bullet for both sides. But this world has changed and I have changed. And I would take jail time over a bullet or an endorsement for what I believe to be disaster to this country and the strong and amazing women and minorities who reside here. Hatch Act be damned. I am with Her.”

O’Grady removed her Facebook post after two or three days, the New York Post reports.

“It was an internal struggle for me but as soon as I put it up, I thought it was not the sentiment that I needed to share because I care very deeply about the mission,” she said.
