The FBI plans to turn over notes from its interview with Hillary Clinton to members of Congress as early as today.

The FBI said there is no transcript of the three-and-a-half hour interview, the New York Post reports.

Clinton was interviewed during the Fourth of July weekend about her role in sending and receiving classified information from her private email server.

Comey earlier told Congress that there’s “no basis to conclude she lied to the FBI” during the interview.

Another group of Democrats has been hacked.

The FBI is investigating the cyber attack of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and whether Russians were involved, as suspected in the hacking of the Demarcation National Committee, Reuters reports, citing four people familiar with the matter.

The Kremlin continues to deny being involved in the hacking.

Sources said the hacker may have been trying to gain information about donors.

It’s still unclear what information was stolen.

Two years before revealing the suspected scandal to Congress, several senior IRS officials knew that agents were targeting conservative groups, Fox News reports.

One of those senior IRS official was Holly Paz, who “knew that agents were targeting conservative groups for special scrutiny as early as 2011.”

The IRS declined to comment.

The information was obtained by Judicial Watch through a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit.

The record show that Paz and other IRS officials were alerted in the spring and summer of 2011 thats agents were targeting Tea Party and conservative groups.

While under investigation by the FBI, former CIA Director David Petraeus hid materials in insulation in his attic, the bureau’s director James Comey said Thursday.

Comey made the statement to say that the investigation of Petraeus was different than the one into Hillary Clinton’s handling of classified information, Fox News reports.

Petraeus pleaded guilty last year to sharing classified information with his biographer, with whom he had a sexual relationship.

“The Petraeus case, to my mind, illustrates perfectly the kind of cases the Department of Justice is willing to prosecute. Even there, they prosecuted him for a misdemeanor,” Comey told the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee.

“In that case, you had vast quantities of highly classified information … not only shared with someone without authority to have it, but we found it in a search warrant hidden under the insulation in his attic and then he lied to us about it during the investigation,” Comey said.

“So you have obstruction of justice, you have intentional misconduct and a vast quantity of information. He admitted he knew that was the wrong thing to do. That is a perfect illustration of the kind of cases that get prosecuted. In my mind, it illustrates importantly the distinction to this case.”

Republicans are lashing out at the FBI for not recommending charges against Hillary Clinton for using a private email server when she was secretary of state.

House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wi., said the FBI’s recommendation “defies explanation,” adding that “declining to prosecute Secretary Clinton for recklessly mishandling and transmitting national security information will set a terrible precedent,” Fortune reports.

Ryan pledged to hold House hearings on the FBI investigation and said Clinton should not be allowed to access classified information.

Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas expressed “serious concerns about the integrity of Director Comey’s decision,” arguing that Comey “has rewritten a clearly worded federal criminal statute.”

Mica is calling for a congressional hearing to get those answers.

Mica suggested that the FBI should have done more earlier but didn’t because of political correctness.

Password-protected cellphones have become a big problem for the FBI.

Since Oct. 1, the bureau has been unable to unlock 13% of the password-protected phones that were part of an investigation, a top bureau official told a House panel Tuesday.

Investigators are having a tougher time than ever cracking into phones since data encryption has become stronger, the USA Today reports.

“Clearly, that presents us with a challenge,” Amy Hess, executive assistant director of the FBI’s science and technology branch, told members of the House Energy and Commerce Committee.

Congress is debating whether to pass legislation that would make it easier for law enforcement to bypass security features.
