Ex-Secret Service Agent Contends U.S. Bureaucracy Is ‘Very, Very Dangerous’
Dan Bongino, a former Secret Service agent who recently wrote a book about his experience with the federal agency, said the government’s growing bureaucracy is “very, very dangerous,” the Blaze reports.
Bongino, who wrote “Life Inside the Bubble: Why a Top-Ranked Secret Service Agent Walked Away from it All,” was speaking on the Glenn Beck program Thursday when he expressed grave concern over the growth of the U.S. bureaucracy.
“My experience in the government is, when something arrives on your desk, you assume it’s been through these massive layers of bureaucracy and management – that you don’t even ask the basic questions,” he explained.
Bongino is running for Congress and has pumped up his rhetoric since.
