Donald Trump insisted Tuesday that Hillary Clinton’s handling of emails was far more scandalous than Watergate.

Trump also criticized the Justice Department, saying it was tougher on Richard Nixon that Clinton, the Washington Post reports.

“This is far bigger and a far bigger scandal than Watergate ever was, but with Watergate we had Justice, we had a Justice Department that went after the people,” Trump said. “Here’s something that just, nobody’s ever seen anything like this.”

Trump insisted the Justice Department’s refusal to charge Clinton is evidence of a “rigged system.”

Mark Morgan, the Border Patrol’s new chief, said his agents are “the most assaulted law enforcement personnel in the country.”

“I’ve learned that the United States Border Patrol agents are among the most assaulted law enforcement personnel in the country,” Mark Morgan, the new chief of the Border Patrol, told a House Homeland Security subcommittee panel on Tuesday, the Washington Examiner reports. “There have been 7,542 assaults against agents since 2006 and 30 agents have died in the line of duty since 2003.”

Morgan also said agents are distracted from their mission to keep the country safe because of unaccompanied minors crossing the border.

“What we’re being asked to do right now, I think you could phrase it a little bit, is a humanitarian mission,” Morgan said.

A former Secret Service agent, who considers himself a “die-hard” conservative, said it’s ludicrous to believe Hillary Clinton has a body double – a conspiracy theory that has gained traction on social media.

“Do you really believe, in an era of HD cameras that … there is a Hillary Clinton body double out there?” Dan Bongino said, Western Journalism reports.

Bongino said the conspiracy theorists are distracting from real issues with Clinton.

“The left loves this stuff. I’m telling you, I’ve seen some of the staffers behind the scenes,” he said. “The far left thinks this is the greatest thing ever — that there are two major Clinton scandals going on right now as we talk, and there are people out there spinning conspiracy theories that Hillary has a body double.”

The body double conspiracy began after Clinton collapsed after a Sept. 11 memorial service. Trump supporters suggested a Clinton lookalike emerged from Chelsea Clinton’s apartment.

Saying he’s not messing around, House Oversight Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz subpoenaed the FBI Monday for the full case file of the Hillary Clinton email investigation.

During the contentious meeting in which Democrats accused Republicans of trying to derail Clinton’s presidential campaign, Chaffetz said his committee is entitled to the information, Politico reports.

“It’s ‘trust, but verify’ is how it works,” Chaffetz told FBI acting legislative affairs chief Jason Herring. “You don’t get to decide what I get to see. I get to see it all.”

When Herring said he was unsure whether he could deliver unedited investigative summaries – known as 302s – Chaffetz delivered the subpoena to the witness table where Herring was sitting.

“I’ve signed this subpoena. We want all the 302s….and you are hereby served,” Chaffetz said.

Chaffetz said the FBI doesn’t get to decide what’s relevant for the committee’s investigation.

“That’s the way a banana republic acts, not the way the United States of America acts,” he said. “I don’t expect to have to issue a subpoena to see unclassified information.”

Since late 2013, more than 110 people have been charged in federal court with crimes related to ISIS, U.S. Assistant Attorney General John Carlin said Monday.

Carlin urged Americans to alert federal authorities when they witness a supporter of terrorist organizations, Reuters reports.

He said people in the community have told authorities in more than 80% of the ISIS cases that they believed the suspect had been involved in crimes for which they were charged. But in more than half of those cases, the public failed to report the activity until after charges were filed.

Last year, 60 people with links to ISIS were charged.
