Fentanyl, the painkiller that killed Prince and is responsible for hundreds of over deaths in recent years, also poses a significant danger to law enforcement, the DEA warned.

The DEA unveiled a new public service announcement that warns officers of the dangers of fentanyl if they encounter it, The Washington Times reports.

The video features two New Jersey police officers who accidentally inhaled fentanyl while trying to seal a plastic bag.

“A bunch of it poofed up into the air, right in our face, and we ended up inhaling it,” said one of the detectives.

“I felt like my body was shutting down,” said the other detective, describing effects of the drug that made him feel like he was dying.

The DEA reports that more than 700 people have died due to fentanyl use between 2013 and 2014.

A Maryland man was so distraught and troubled by the Orlando shootings that he crashed his car through a gate at CIA headquarters in Langley early Monday, his mother said.

NBC News reports that Thomas Luu, 35, of Rockville, crashed through the gate in a Ford Focus just after 2 a.m.

Investigators said Lue told agents he wanted to get the CIA’s attention but wouldn’t say why.

Luu’s mother said he was angry about the shooting and disappeared overnight.

Investigators wrote in their court filing, “The chain link fence is approximately eight feet tall with another one-and-a-half feet of barbed wire, and covers the two outbound lanes of travel. The gate is clearly marked with a sign that notifies visitors that it is closed; there also are ‘no trespassing’ signs in the immediate area.”

Lou is being held in federal custody while he faces a federal charge of damaging government property.

A Minnesota man was so angry that he missed his flight that he’s suing the TSA and the Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport.

Hooman Nikizad said he arrived at the airport two hours before his scheduled departure but was stuck in line most of the time, making him miss the flight, CNN reports.

In the suit, the passenger said only one body scanner was running.

“The [Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport] and TSA have done a very poor job of getting passengers through security,” Nikizad wrote in the claim.

Nikizad wants reimbursed for the flight and is asking for $506.85.

CIA Director John Brennan

CIA Director John Brennan said there’s no proof to support claims that the Saudi government or officials supported the Sept. 11 attacks.

In an interview with al-Arabiya, Brennan was addressing the yet-to-be-released 28 pages of a congressional investigation into the 2011 attacks, the New York Post reports.

President Obama said all or most of the report will be released as early as this month.

Brennan said the 9/11 Commission found there was no evidence to point to Saudi complicity.

“Subsequently the Sept. 11 commission looked very thoroughly at these allegations of Saudi involvement, Saudi government involvement and their finding, their conclusion was that there was no evidence to indicate that the Saudi government as an institution or Saudi senior officials individually had supported the Sep. 11 attacks,” Brennan told al-Arabiya, the Saudi-owned broadcaster, on Saturday.

“Indeed, subsequently the assessments that have been done have shown it was very unfortunate that these attacks took place but this was the work of al-Qaida, (al-Qaida leader Ayman) al-Zawahri, and others of that ilk,” said Brennan, who called Riyadh a strong U.S. partner in fighting terrorism.

Omar Mateen, the man who killed more than 50 people at an Orlando nightclub, was investigated by the FBI twice for suspected radicalism.

Now federal investigators are trying to learn what motivated the 29-year-old son of Afghan parents, the Wall Street Journal reports.

Mateen proclaimed allegiance to ISIS  when he called emergency services on the night of the attack.

The FBI was concerned about Mateen in 2013 “when he made inflammatory remarks to co-workers alleging possible terrorist ties,” said Ronald Hopper an FBI official in Orlando.

Hopper said the FBI “thoroughly investigated the matter, including interviews of witnesses, physical surveillance, and records checks,” he said, and “ultimately, we were unable to verify the substance of his comments and the investigation was closed.”

The FBI also investigated Mateen in 2014 after he allegedly had contact with a Florida man who traveled to Syria and carried out a suicide attack. Agents “determined that contact was minimal and did not constitute a substantive relationship or a threat at that time.”

Police arrested a man who was headed to the L.A. Pride parade with a car full of explosive material and weapons.

Kames Wesley Howell, 20, of Indiana was found with three rifles, high capacity magazines loaded with ammunition and chemicals for potential explosives, the New York Daily News reports.

Police arrested Howell after receiving a call at 4:59 a.m. about a suspicious man banging on doors and windows.

“Our officer immediately noticed that there was a rifle in the seat of the car, which led to a further investigation, at which point, we recovered additional firearms and high-capacity magazines,” Rodriquez said.

“The suspect did make an initial statement that he was going to go to the Pride festival,” Rodriguez said. “Beyond that he did not make additional statements saying he was going to do anything further than that. We do not have any additional information as to what his intentions were.”

Santa Monica Police Chief Jacqueline Saybrooks said Howell intended to harm a lot of people at the gay pride event.

A Denver-based Secret Service agent was the first person to render medical aid after a Thunderbirds jet crashed after the Air Force graduation, ABC7 reports.

Senior Special Agent Charlie Beans saw the Thunderbirds fly over the commencement.

The pilot was ejected from the plane before it went dow in Widefield, south of Colorado Springs.

“We had a little trouble finding it at first, there was no smoke coming up or anything,” said Beans, who was onboard a Colorado Air National Guard helicopter.

“You think the worst possible thing. I think ‘fireball,’ and did it hit a house and that kind of stuff, but thank goodness this one worked out pretty well,” said Beans. “As we were going towards it, we learned that the pilot did eject, so we were at least looking for that.”

Beans found the pilot walking around when the helicopter touched down.

“The crew members looked back at me, gave me the thumbs up. They brought him to me and loaded him in the helicopter,” said Beans. “I gave him a quick rapid trauma assessment, which is kind of something we do to make sure he doesn’t have any broken bones or he’s in shock or anything like that. I just grabbed his leg a couple of times, I said, ‘Is your back OK? Is your neck OK? Are your legs OK? Brother we’re going to get you out of here, just sit back.'”

ATF: Orlando Nightclub Shooter Legally Purchased Guns Days Before Attack

Just days before he opened fire at an Orlando nightclub, killing 50 people, Omar Mateen legally purchased a handful and long gun, the ATF said.

Mateen, who was twice investigated by the FBI for suspected ties to terrorists, was not barred from buying a gun.

“He is not a prohibited person,” ATF Assistant Special Agent in Charge Trevor Velinor said.

Florida residents can legally purchase assault weapons and high-capacity magazines.

Mateen reportedly pledged allegiance to ISIS before the attack.
