A tenured Kent State professor continues to teach as the FBI investigates suspicions that he has ties to ISIS terrorists, Newsnet5.com reports.
The FBI has investigated Julio Pino, an associate professor of history, for about a year and a half.
Because he is a tenured professor, Pino is still teaching.
In 2011, Pino shouted “Death to Israel” while a former Israeli diplomat was delivering a speech.
Kent State officials said the university is cooperating with the FBI, which declined to discuss the case because of the ongoing investigation.
