Former FBI Agent Goes on Trial in Fatal Drunken Driving Crash

Jury selection is to begin Monday in Prince George’s County, Md., in suburban D.C. for a former FBI agent accused of causing a drunken driving crash that killed an 18-year-old in February 2011, the Washington Examiner reports.
Adrian N. Johnson, who was dismissed from the bureau shortly after the accident, faces nine charges, including vehicular manslaughter and driving under the influence of alcohol.
Johnson is accused of driving drunk in Brandywine, Md., when his car veered into oncoming traffic and struck a vehicle driven by Lawrence Garner Jr., the Washington Examiner reported.
Johnson, who was off duty at the time, had a blood alcohol content more than three times the legal limit to drive, prosecutors allege.
